Dr. Mohammed M. Alajmi Chemical Engineering Department Kuwait University
Mohammed Alajmi is an Assistant Professor at Kuwait University, College of Petroleum and Engineering, with expertise in thermodynamics, equation-of-state development, and petrochemical process modeling. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2017, graduating with the prestigious Moeur Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout all semesters.
Dr. Alajmi obtained both his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University. His research focuses on developing and refining equations of state for complex fluid systems, modeling phase behavior of polymers, CO₂-related systems, asphaltene precipitation, and crude oil characterization.
Dr. Alajmi has received several academic honors, including the Teaching Assistant Award from the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Rice University, recognizing his exceptional contributions to teaching and student mentorship.
